Abstract: Stemming from multiagent systems and systemics, the aim of ontic computing is the study of the complex properties of software agents. Abstract: The systemic theory associates open systems and complexity closely. This article presents a particular articulation between these two concepts using the systemion model. Two types of opening are defined, characterized and illustrated using examples.

Abstract: Collaborative Learning Systems are often developed to enhance the communication between the actors. These systems suggest a lot of interactivity to collaborate and a great efficiency to look for and to find solutions to a great number of problems. But in certain educational contexts, numerous communication tools distract the users from their main collaboration activity. RetroMob is a peer-to-peer (P2P) lightweight framework which focuses on the collaborative activity dedicated to the emergence of individual solutions built from the parallel perception of solutions suggested by the other members of the group. For that, the mechanisms of interaction between the users are restricted to the discovering and to the transparent and anonymous transfer of the solutions suggested by the peers.

Abstract: Many natural or artificial systems are considered to be complex because we experience the greatest difficulties of expressing their external behaviors in a satisfactory mathematical form. The structural approach proposes a different methodology consisting in isolating and modeling the nodes of complexity of a system by a fine analysis of their internal organization.

Abstract: This paper presents a model of autonomy called autonomy with regard to an attribute applicable to cognitive and not cognitive artificial agents. Three criteria (global / partial, social / nonsocial, absolute / relative) are defined and used to describe the main characteristics of this type of autonomy. A software agent autonomous with regard to the mobility illustrates a possible implementation of this model.
